Product orders and returns
The Product orders and returns report helps you understand which products are your best sellers, and which get returned the most often. The report displays total number of products that were ordered over the selected time period and how many of them were returned.
Term | Definition |
---|---|
Product title | The name of the products that were ordered during the selected time period. |
Ordered quantity | The total number of items ordered during the selected time period. |
Returned quantity | The total number of items returned during the selected time period. |
Return rate | The percentage of items returned compared to the total number of items that were ordered during the selected time period. |
Orders over time
The Orders over time report displays total number of orders that were received during the selected time period.

Average units ordered | The average number of individual product units per order during the selected time period. |
Average order value | The average dollar amount per order during the selected time period. |
Returned items | The total number of individual product units returned during the selected time period. |
Fulfillment, shipping, and delivery times
The Fulfillment, shipping, and delivery times report the time that it takes for orders to move through the entire fulfillment process, from order receipt until delivery to your customer. The chart in this report plots the number of orders that completed the selected stage against each hourly or daily completion period, and displays the median (or typical) amount of time orders took to complete the selected stage.

Time to fulfill | The number of orders marked as fulfilled during the given timespan, for each hourly or daily completion period, calculated from when the order was received to when it was fulfilled. E.g. 20 orders took less than one hour to be fulfilled after they were received. |
Time to ship | The number of orders marked as shipped during the given timespan, for each hourly or daily completion period, calculated from when the order was shipped to when it was delivered. E.g. 10 orders took between 1 and 2 hours to be delivered after they were shipped. |
Time to deliver | The number of orders marked as delivered during the given timespan, for each hourly or daily completion period, calculated from when the order was received to when it was delivered. E.g. 15 orders took between 2 and 3 days to be delivered after they were received. |
Fulfillment over time
The Fulfillment over time report displays the total number of orders that were either fulfilled, shipped, or delivered over the selected time period.

Shipping labels over time
The Shipping labels over time report helps you understand your purchase trends and costs for Shopify Shipping labels. The report excludes return labels, canceled or voided labels, adjustments, and labels not purchased through Shopify Shipping. Costs are reported in your store currency.
It can take up to 24 hours for labels to display in the report. The Shipping labels over time report is available on the Basic Shopify plan or higher.

Shipping labels
The Shipping labels report displays a breakdown of the Shopify Shipping labels you've purchased over a selected time period. The report excludes return labels, canceled or voided labels, adjustments, and labels not purchased through Shopify Shipping. Costs are reported in your store currency.
It can take up to 24 hours for labels to display in the report. The Shipping labels report is available on the Basic Shopify plan or higher.

Tracking number | The tracking number provided for the package, when applicable. |
Package name | The name of the package selected to ship the order. |
Package type | The type of package selected to ship the order. |
Package length, width, or height | The numerical value of the length, width, or height of the package selected to ship the order. |
Package dimensions units | The unit of measurement used in the dimensions of the package selected to ship the order. |
Total weight value | The numerical value of the total weight of the package and its contents. |
Total weight units | The unit of measurement of the total weight. |
Customer paid | The amount the customer paid for shipping. |
Currency | The currency of your store. |
Shopify Savings | The value of the discount received on the shipping label. |
Cost | The cost of the shipping label purchased. |
Items bought together
The Items bought together report displays the most common product combinations purchased together, so you can identify opportunities for bundles, upsells, and promotions. This report includes only processed orders, and replaces the Online store cart analysis, which focuses on items inside of a cart, prior to checkout.
You can change dimensions between Products bought together and Variants bought together, and apply filters such as Number of products bought together and Number of variants bought together to get more specific insights into your customers' buying habits.
In the Summary table, you can float your cursor over the product or variant images and titles to get a complete list of the combination of products in a row.
