Getting started with Store Cam

Before you can connect your cameras to Shopify, you need to install the Store Cam app and connect it to your Nest account. You can disconnect your Nest account at any time.

Install the Store Cam app

To install the Store Cam app:

  1. In the Shopify App Store, go to the Store Cam app.

  2. Click Get. You'll be taken to your Shopify admin.

  3. You'll see the permissions that you're granting the app. If you're happy to grant those permissions, then click Install app.

Connect your Nest account

To connect your Nest account to Store Cam:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps.

  2. In the list of apps, click Store Cam.

  3. Click Connect Nest account.

  4. Enter your Nest credentials, and then click SIGN IN.

  5. The next page shows the permissions that you're granting the Store Cam app. If you're happy to grant those permissions, then click ACCEPT.

After connecting your Nest account, you return to the Store Cam page in Shopify, where you'll see your available POS locations.

Disconnect your Nest account

To disconnect your Nest account from Store Cam:

  1. In the list of apps, click Store Cam.

  2. Click Settings:

  3. Beside You are connected to a Nest account, click Disconnect.

  4. In the Disconnect Nest account from Store Cam dialog, click Disconnect.

After disconnecting your account, you won't be able to view camera feeds or snapshots in Shopify.
