Plug in your Star Micronics mC-Print3 receipt printer

Before you can use the Star Micronics mC-Print3 receipt printer, you need to connect your printer to the power supply.

Steps:

1. Remove the panel on the back of the printer.
2. Plug one end of the power cable into the back of your receipt printer.
3. Plug the power cable into the AC adapter.
4. Plug the other end of the AC adapter into a power outlet and turn on the printer.

If the paper is loaded, then a diagnostic report prints.

Pair and connect the Star Micronics mC-Print3 receipt printer with your POS device using LAN

To use the Star Micronics mC-Print3 receipt printer with Shopify POS, pair the printer with your device through Shopify POS. After the printer and device are paired, the printer connects to the device whenever both are powered on.

Steps:

1. Connect your printer to the power supply.
2. In the Shopify POS app, tap the connectivity symbol in the navigation and then tap Set up a new device.
3. Tap Receipt printer > Star Micronics > Ethernet/LAN.
4. Select mC-Print3.
5. Tap Connect and then Done.
6. Confirm that your printer displays as connected under Receipt Printers.

After connecting your printer, don't forget to:

• Set it as the default printer (optional)
• Print a test receipt
• Test the connection to the cash drawer (if applicable)

To use the Star Micronics mC-Print3 receipt printer (model number MCP31LB) with Shopify POS, pair the printer with your device through Shopify POS. After the printer and device are paired, the printer connects to the device automatically whenever both are powered on and in range.

Steps:

1. In the Shopify POS app, tap the connectivity symbol in the navigation and then tap Set up a new device.
2. Tap Receipt printer > Star Micronics > Bluetooth.
3. Select mC-Print3.
4. Turn on the printer and load the receipt paper.
5. Follow on-screen instructions on your POS device to complete pairing.
6. Confirm that your printer displays as connected under Receipt Printers.

To use the StarMicronics mC-Print3 receipt printer with Shopify POS through the StarMicronics MCW10 Wireless LAN Device, connect your StarMicronics MCW10 Wireless LAN Device to the receipt printer, and then follow the steps to connect to the Shopify POS. After the printer and device are connected, the printer connects to the device automatically whenever both are powered on and in range.

Steps:

1. Connect your printer to the power supply and connect your StarMicronics MCW10 Wireless LAN Device to the receipt printer.
2. From the Shopify POS app, tap the connectivity symbol in the navigation and then tap Set up a new device.
3. Tap Receipt printer > Star Micronics > Wi-Fi.
4. Select mC-Print3.
5. Tap Connect and then Done.
6. Confirm that your printer displays as connected under Receipt Printers.
