Attribute sales to staff

While you're processing an order on Shopify POS for iPad, you can attribute sales to staff from the products and cart screen. If you want to attribute sales to staff, then you have to add staff to the sale before completing the order. Only staff with a PIN assigned can be attributed sales.

You can track your staff's performance and sales attribution by using the Retail sales by staff who helped with sale report.

Attribute staff to an item in a transaction

  1. In the Cart section of the products and cart screen, tap a product.
  2. Tap Add staff who helped with sale.
  3. Select the staff you want to attribute the sale to.
  4. Tap Done.

Remove staff from an item in a transaction

  1. In the Cart section of the product and cart screen, tap the product you have added staff to.
  2. Tap Add staff who helped with sale.
  3. Select a new staff to change the staff if more than one staff is added to the order, or select Remove to clear all selections.
  4. Tap Done

Bulk attribute staff to a full transaction

You can attribute sales for all of the items in an order to one staff.

  1. In the Cart section of the products and cart screen, tap the ...
  2. Tap Add staff who helped with sale.
  3. Select the staff that you want to attribute the sale to.
  4. Confirm that the items you want to attribute to staff are selected. If there is an item you do not want to attribute to staff, then deselect the item.
  5. Tap Done.
