Location settings
If you use Shopify POS at more than one address, then you can set the current location of your Shopify POS device. This makes sure that you apply the right taxes to your in-person orders and that you can track the orders placed at each physical location. The selected location’s inventory count is updated whenever a product is sold or restocked on Shopify POS.
If a product has a tax override applied to it, then the tax override rate is used instead of the tax rate based on the device's location.
Add a store location
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Locations.
Click Add location.
Enter the details of your new location.
Click Save.
From the Shopify app, tap Store.
Tap Settings.
Tap Locations.
Tap the

Edit a store location
You can change the name, address, or telephone number of an existing location.
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Locations.
Click the name of the location that you want to edit.
Update the location's information.
Click Save.
From the Shopify app, tap Store.
Tap Settings.
Tap Locations.
Tap the name of the location that you want to edit.
Update the location's information.
Tap Save.
From the Shopify app, tap Store.

Select a store location
From the Shopify POS, tap Store.
Tap Locations.
Tap the name of the POS location.
Tap Switch.
Tap Launch store.
From the Shopify POS, tap Store.
Tap Locations.
Tap the name of the POS location.
Tap Switch.
Tap Launch store.
From the Shopify POS, tap Store.

Delete a store location
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Locations.
Click the name of the location that you want to delete.
If the location is active, then click Deactivate location. Select a location to assign this location's inventory and unfulfilled orders to, and then click Deactivate location.
Click Delete location.
If you're sure that you want to delete the location, then click Delete to confirm.
