Retail requirements - Germany

As of April 1, 2021, all German retail merchants must comply with the new KassenSichV regulation. This regulation impacts all merchants in Germany who sell in-person and have a digital cash register that accepts cash payments. Under this regulation, merchants are required to connect electronic cash registers to a technical security system (TSE) for auditing purposes.
