Stocky settings

You can update and customize Stocky to best suit your needs.

Update personal information

You can update your personal account information in the Stocky app.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. Click Stocky.

  3. Click Open app.

  4. Click the account icon, and then click Preferences.

  5. Click Privacy.

  6. Update the name of the Shop owner to ensure that all communications from Stocky are addressed to the correct person.

  7. Update the Account email to ensure that account related alerts and reports are sent to the correct email address.

  8. Click Save changes.

Activate and name custom fields

Custom fields can be used to store date or text values against your variants. For example, you could create a custom field to store the shelf location of a variant.

Stocky lets you create 3 custom text fields per product variant, as well as a custom date field.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. Click Stocky.

  3. Click Open app.

  4. Click the account icon, and then click Preferences.

  5. Click Custom fields.

  6. Click the Enabled checkbox next to the field that you want to use, and then enter a name for the field. For example, Warehouse Location.

  7. Click Save changes.

Choosing where custom fields are displayed

By default, your custom fields are available on the Variant report page, but you can also choose to display them on the Purchase order and Purchase order planner pages.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. Click Stocky.

  3. Click Open app.

  4. Click the account icon, and then click Preferences.

  5. Click Purchase orders.

  6. In the Table columns section of Purchase orders, click the type of purchase order where you want the custom field to be displayed. For example, Settings for ordered PO.

  7. In the dialog, select the custom fields that you want to display. For example, select Custom text field 2.

  8. Click Update, and then click Save changes.

Add a custom tax rate

You can set custom tax rates for purchases or sales in Stocky.

You can also set a default sales tax rate. This is applied to all newly created purchase orders unless a tax rate is specified in the supplier settings.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. Click Stocky.

  3. Click Open app.

  4. Click the account icon, and then click Preferences.

  5. Click Tax rates.

  6. Click New Tax Rate.

  7. In the New tax rate dialog, customize your new tax rate:

    1. Enter a name for the tax rate. This name is for your reference only.
    2. Enter the tax rate as a percentage.
    3. Enter the code that you want to display on your purchase orders.
    4. Select whether this is a Purchase or Sales tax rate.
  8. Click Create.

Display tax rates on purchase orders

You can choose to display tax rates on purchase orders.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. Click Stocky.

  3. Click Open app.

  4. Click the account icon, and then click Preferences.

  5. Click Purchase Orders.

  6. In the Table columns section of Purchase orders, click Settings for draft PO.

  7. Select Tax rate, and then click Update.

  8. In the Table columns section of Purchase orders, click Settings for ordered PO.

  9. Select Tax rate, and then click Update.

  10. Click Save changes.
