Shopify uses a product variant’s sales history and the quantity available at a fulfillment center to estimate how many days of inventory you have left for any product variant.
The Overview page of your Shopify Fulfillment Network (SFN) app has an Inventory overview section that displays the following information:
|Fulfillment center||If you have inventory at multiple SFN fulfillment centers, then this column displays the fulfillment centers that store your inventory. If you have inventory in one center, then this column is not displayed.|
|Total products||The total number of unique SKUs that you have at a fulfillment center.|
|Low stock||The total number of unique SKUs that have a low stock quantity based on your minimum days of inventory settings. You can click the **▾** icon to display a list of items that are low in stock at that fulfillment center.|
|Incoming||The total number of unique SKUs that are incoming through an inbound transfer to a fulfillment center. You can click **▾** to display a list of items that are incoming to that fulfillment center.|
Set inventory notifications
You can set up notifications to remind you to replenish your inventory stocked at fulfillment centers, based on the expected number of days of inventory that you have left. You’re notified when the number of days of inventory for any variant falls below the minimum that you set. Inventory notifications are displayed in your Shopify Fulfillment Network app on the Overview and Inventory tabs.
- From the Shopify Fulfillment Network app, click Settings.
- In the Inventory notifications section, set the minimum days of inventory you need for your products.
