Using bulk actions in your Shopify admin

The bulk editing feature for blog posts, pages, and URL redirects is no longer available. If you still need to update your blog posts, pages, or URL redirects, then consider using the following third-party apps:

• Bulk edit blog posts and pages
• Bulk edit URL redirects
• Alternate bulk editor for URL redirects

You can perform actions in bulk in the Shopify admin. For example, you can fulfill many orders, delete many files, or publish many products in one action.

You can use bulk actions on many pages of your Shopify admin, including Orders, Products, Customers, and Discounts.

The more information you try to bulk change at one time, the longer your bulk changes will take to complete. You can also use a CSV file to bulk edit a larger number of list items for your products, your inventory, or your customers. After your CSV file is uploaded in your Shopify admin, you receive a confirmation email from Shopify at the email account that you used to set up your Shopify store.

Select items to edit in bulk

You can select items to perform bulk actions on your Orders, Customers, and Products. You can also perform bulk actions on Discounts from your Shopify admin, but you can't perform bulk actions on Discounts in the Shopify app.

Steps:

Desktop

1. From your Shopify admin, do one of the following:
   • Click Orders
   • Click Products
   • Click Customers
   • Click Discounts
2. Do one of the following:
   • To select items one by one, click the checkbox for each item that you want to select.
   • To select a range of items, click to select an item, and then hold the shift key and click another item. This selects the first and last items that you clicked, and all items in between.
   • To select all items on a page, click the checkbox at the top of the item list.
   • To select all items from your store, click the checkbox at the top of the item list, and then click Select all in this store.

iPhone

1. In the Shopify app, do one of the following:
   • Tap Orders > All orders. Tap the ⋮ menu, and then tap Select orders.
   • Tap Products > All products. Tap the ⋮ menu, and then tap Select products.
   • Tap … > Customers > All customers. Tap the ⋮ menu, and then tap Select customers.
2. Tap the checkbox next to each item that you want to select.

You can select up to 25 items at a time on a mobile device.

Android

1. In the Shopify app, do one of the following:
   • Tap Orders > All orders. Tap the ⋮ menu, and then tap Select orders.
   • Tap Products > All products. Tap the ⋮ menu, and then tap Select products.
   • Tap ☰ > Customers > All customers. Tap the ⋮ menu, and then tap Select customers.
2. Tap the checkbox next to each item that you want to select.

You can select up to 25 items at a time on a mobile device.

Choose a bulk action

Desktop

1. Select the list items that you want to perform a bulk action on.
2. Select the bulk action in one of the following ways:
   • Click the name of the bulk action, and then take the necessary steps for completing the action.
   • Click …, then click the name of the bulk action, and then take the necessary steps for completing the action.
3. Optional: If you're deleting list items, then confirm your choice by clicking Delete.

iPhone

1. Select the list items that you want to perform a bulk action on.
2. Select the bulk action in one of the following ways:
   • Tap the name of the bulk action, and then take the necessary steps for completing the action.
   • Tap ⋮, then tap the name of the bulk action, and then take the necessary steps for completing the action.
3. Optional: If you're deleting list items, then confirm your choice by tapping Delete.

Android

1. Select the list items that you want to perform a bulk action on.
2. Select the bulk action in one of the following ways:
   • Tap the name of the bulk action, and then take the necessary steps for completing the action.
   • Tap ⋮, then tap the name of the bulk action, and then take the necessary steps for completing the action.
3. Optional: If you're deleting list items, then confirm your choice by tapping Delete.
