Update order note

The Update order note action refreshes the notes on an order page for the order that triggers the workflow.

Note

By default, this action replaces the contents of the note. To add content to the existing note, add a customer note variable followed by the content that you want to add to the note in the Note field.

For example, in a flow that starts with an order trigger, enter {{order.note}} followed by the content to add.

The Update order note action contains the following fields.

Note	The note to be applied to the order.

Triggers

The Update order note action has a hidden field added to it by the trigger. This field, Order ID, identifies the order to update. The action can be used in workflows that provide the Order ID, including those that start with the following triggers:

• Order canceled
• Order created
• Order fulfilled
• Order paid
• Order risk analyzed
• Order transaction created
• Fulfillment created
• Fulfillment event created
• Refund created
• Tender transaction created
