Customer account disabled

The Customer account disabled trigger starts a workflow when a user in your organization or a third-party app disables a customer account in the Shopify admin.

This trigger applies only to classic customer accounts. For more information, refer to Customer accounts.

Actions

The following actions can be used in workflows that start with the Customer account disabled trigger.

• Add customer tags
• Remove customer metafield
• Remove customer tags
• Update customer metafield
• Update customer note

Testing the Customer account disabled trigger

To test a workflow that starts with this trigger, disable a customer account.

Note

Customers with disabled accounts can't create an account or log in during checkout. Create a test customer account instead of disabling a real customer account.
