Upcoming and past Shopify bills

The information in your upcoming and past bills can help you understand your Shopify billing and manage your finances effectively. You can view any charges that are included in your upcoming bills. This can include charges that are triggered by your billing threshold. You can also review the billing history of your Shopify account.

View your upcoming Shopify bill

An upcoming bill in your Shopify admin contains the following details:

  • The date range of the Current billing cycle
  • The Running total amount of the bill
  • The payment method that you use to pay your Shopify bills
  • The amount that's left until you reach your billing threshold
  • A breakdown of the specific charges within the billing cycle

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Billing.

  2. In the Current billing cycle section, click View current charges.

View your past Shopify bills

In the Past bills section, you get an overview of your previous Shopify bills. You can use the Search and filter button to search for specific bill numbers.

A past bill in your Shopify admin contains the following details:

  • The 9-digit bill number, beginning with #, which also displays on your banking statement
  • The payment status of the bill
  • The date that the bill was issued on
  • The total amount of the bill
  • The payment timeline for the bill
  • A breakdown of the specific charges within the bill

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Billing.

  2. In the Past bills section, click a bill to view its details.
