Permissions for options on the Settings page

The Manage settings permission grants access to some, but not all, of the pages and options in the Settings section of your Shopify admin. To allow access to the other pages and options, you need to add the minimum required store permissions to the user role.

Minimum required permissions for your Shopify admin Settings pages.

Settings option	Description	Minimum required permissions
Store settings	Allows you to view and update your store settings.	Manage settings
Plan	Allows you to view your Shopify plan. Any user can view the plan details, but only the store owner or users with the Manage plan permission can make changes to the plan. Only the store owner can pause or deactivate the store.
Payments	Allows you to activate and manage your store's payment providers and payout information. If a user has only the Manage settings, and the Checkout permissions, then they can only access the payment information. If a user has only the Manage settings, Checkout, and Manage other payment settings permissions, then they can manage payment settings. If a user has the Manage settings, Checkout, and View Shopify Payments payouts permissions, then they can access Shopify Payments payout information. Note: For merchants in the United States, the Payouts option is in the Finances section of the Shopify admin.	Manage settings Checkout

Custom data	Allows you to extend your store by adding metafields for the following resources: Products Variants Collections Customers Orders Locations Pages Blogs Blog posts	Metafield definitions and their values have the same user permissions as the resource they're associated with. For example, product metafields require product permissions.
