User roles

A user role represents the user's job in the organization, and contains all the granular permissions that the user requires to do that job. You can assign users to predefined user roles, or create custom roles. For example, the predefined Merchandiser role grants the user access to your Shopify admin home, and all related permissions in Products, Catalogs, and Content. You can assign staff that update your products and collections the Merchandiser user role.
