User roles

A user role represents a staff member's job, and contains all the granular permissions that the staff member requires to do that job.

You can assign users to predefined user roles, or create custom roles. For example, the predefined Merchandiser role grants the user access to your Shopify admin home, and all related permissions in Products, Catalogs, and Content. You can assign the Merchandiser user role to users that update your products and collections.
