On the Google Shopping Product page the status column is displayed:
There are 5 possible product statuses: Error, Warning, Pending, Publishing, and Published.
Go to the app store to install Google Shopping
Products with the Error status are not published to Google Merchant Center and have at least one of the following:
- One or more variants that have errors
- One or more fields that have errors
Errors should be fixed as soon as possible.
If a product with the Error status has been published successfully in the past, it will remain on Google Merchant Center until the errors have been fixed or until that product expires.
Products with the Warning status are published to Google Merchant Center and have at least one of the following:
- One or more variants that have warnings
- One or more fields that have warnings
Although products with Warnings are published to Google Merchant Center, Warnings can cause problems or suspension and should be fixed as soon as possible.
Products with the Pending status have changes in Shopify that have not yet been published to Google Merchant Center. In some cases, these changes can trigger an Error or a Warning from Google Merchant Center.
These products will be published to Google Merchant Center automatically, but you can also publish them manually to see if the changes in data have caused any problems.
Products with the Publishing status have been queued to be published to Google Merchant Center. Depending on the amount of products queued to be published, this can take some time.
Products with the Published status are successfully published to Google Merchant Center.
Changes to the products' information in Shopify can cause successfully published products to have Errors and Warnings. Check the Google Shopping app periodically to make sure that your products are continuing to be published successfully.
