Finding your unique ID or promo code

Before you migrate your QuickBooks Desktop POS data or integrate QuickBooks Desktop accounting software to Shopify, you need to make sure that you create your Shopify account with your unique ID, also known as a promo code. Your unique ID or promo code gives you access to the QuickBooks data migration and integration tools.

Caution

If you create your Shopify account with an incorrect ID, then you can't migrate your data from QuickBooks Desktop POS to Shopify POS.

You can find your unique ID or promo code in the email sent by Intuit QuickBooks. Search for the following line within the email to locate your unique ID or promo code:

You will need to use your unique promo code to take advantage of the discounts: Your Shopify Unique ID is XXXXXX.
