Disqus is a free discussion platform. Disqus encourages social engagement and traffic to your website as well as improving your SEO.
Disqus can be used as an alternative to our blog commenting feature, especially if you find that your blog generates a lot of comments or is receiving a lot of spam. Disqus can also be used on product pages to generate discussion about your products.
While the system integrates with Shopify, comment moderation, comment removal and general analytics are done through the Disqus platform.
It is a fairly easy system to integrate but, if you are apprehensive or would prefer to moderate comments through Shopify, check out the Disqus integration app on our App Store.
