Carbon-neutral shipping with the Planet app
Install Planet from the Shopify App Store.
You can use the Planet app to make your shipments carbon neutral by funding companies that remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and store it. With Planet, you can do the following:
- Make all your shipments carbon neutral, or let customers choose to pay $0.50 USD for carbon-neutral shipping at checkout.
- Showcase your commitment with a customizable Planet badge on your online store.
- Access analytics showing your carbon-neutral shipments and the amount of carbon you've removed.
Planet offers two subscription options: you can pay to make all shipments carbon neutral, or let customers opt in. After you install and choose your plan, you can add a Planet badge with marketing mode to display your climate impact or engagement mode to let customers contribute at checkout. You can also view analytics to track your carbon-neutral shipments.
