Shop sales channel performance analytics

You can access an overview of how the Shop channel impacts your business over time. For example, you can view the total number of sales and orders made using Shop Pay, and the total number of sales and orders made on your Shop store.

View performance analytics

If you activate the Shop feature on your account, then you can view Shop Pay and Shop Store metrics in the Shop sales channel in your Shopify admin. If you don't have enough customers using Shop, then certain performance metrics won't be available. These metrics are available after more customers start using Shop.

You can view the following Shop data values:

• Total sales with Shop Pay: total sales processed with Shop Pay across all sales channels.
• Total orders made with Shop Pay: number of orders made using Shop Pay across all sales channels.
• Shop Store sales: total sales made on the Shop sales channel
• Shop Store orders: number of orders placed on the Shop sales channel.

 Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Shop.

3. Click Open sales channel.

4. From the Shop sales channel, click the calendar icon, and then select the time frame that you want to view. You can select today, the last 7 days, or the last 30 days.

5. Click a metric to view a more detailed report in your Analytics section. You can view the Shop Pay performance and Shop Store performance reports.

Viewing Shop performance reports

You can access the following Shop performance reports:

• Shop Pay performance: This report displays the sales or orders processed using Shop Pay across all sales channels.
• Shop Store performance: This report displays the sales or orders processed using the Shop sales channel.

From each report, you can choose to display Total Payments and Total Orders. You can change the date range that you're reviewing, create a comparison with another date range, and select the regularity of the metrics.

From each report, you can print the current report, export the current report, or save the report.

View a list of sessions referred by the Shop app

In your Shopify reports, sessions referred by the Shop app are listed in the Sessions by referrer report and the Sessions over time report as shop_app in the UTM Campaign Name source column. All Shop refers to sales or orders made using the Shop app and Shop Pay. Shop Pay includes sales or orders made on any available channel, including your online store.

You can filter the list by referrer name to view only sessions referred by Shop.

Steps:

1. In Shopify, go to Analytics > Reports.
2. Click the Categories dropdown menu, and then select Acquisition.
3. Click Sessions by referrer.
4. Click Edit columns, and then select UTM campaign source.
5. Click Manage filters.
6. Click Select filter, and then select UTM campaign source.
7. Click Search and then select or enter shop_app.
8. Click Apply filters to view a list of sales referred by Shop.
