Turn off data sharing for Shopify Audiences

You can turn off data sharing in the Shopify Audiences app. After you turn off data sharing, audiences don't update, and the following features are no longer available:

• exporting and updating audiences on ad platforms
• advertising campaign benchmarks
• ads on other platforms in Shop Campaigns

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. Click Shopify Audiences.

3. Click Open app.

4. Click Settings.

5. In the Data sharing section, turn off data sharing by clicking the toggle button.

To resume generating and exporting new audiences, you need to turn on data sharing.

When you uninstall the Shopify Audiences app, data sharing is turned off. Your data will no longer be used as part of the Shopify Audiences algorithms after 30 days. This includes use in audiences and benchmarks data. During that 30 days, you will continue to meet applicable terms and legal requirements with respect to Shopify Audiences.
