Uninstalling the POS sales channel

You can uninstall Shopify POS from your Shopify admin. Before uninstalling, make sure to take the following actions:

• Review your POS subscription.
• Fulfill all POS orders.
• Process all returns or refunds on POS orders.
• Remove the Shopify POS app from all devices.

Cancel your POS subscription

Caution

If you want to cancel any future charges for your POS Pro subscription, then you need to downgrade every location that subscribes to POS Pro to POS Lite before uninstalling the POS sales channel.

Uninstall the POS sales channel

Steps:

1. Downgrade every location that subscribes to POS Pro to POS Lite
2. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
3. Click the Point of Sale sales channel.
4. Click Uninstall sales channel.
5. Select I understand the risks of uninstalling this sales channel.
6. Optional: Select a reason why you're uninstalling the sales channel.
7. Click Uninstall.

After canceling you POS subscription and uninstalling the POS sales channel, you won't be able to publish products, fulfill orders, or manage performance anymore in your Shopify POS app.
