Updating an order

You can add notes or update customers for existing orders.

Add a note to an order

Order notes appear on an order's details screen, and they're useful for attaching additional information about an order. You might want to attach a note to an order for the following reasons:

  • You’ve refunded or canceled the order.
  • You’ve done an exchange for all or part of the order.
  • Your customer has some additional requirements that you want to record.
  1. From the Shopify POS app, tap the button and then tap Orders.

  2. Tap an order to view its details screen and then tap Add note.

  3. Enter your note and then tap Save.

The note appears on the order details screen. You can edit the note by tapping Edit beside ORDER NOTES.
