Setting your preferences

To prepare for the launch of the Handshake marketplace in Fall 2020, you must set some preferences in advance for your checkout. You have to set the minimum value that a retailer can order from your business, and information about your shipping and returns policies. The shipping and returns policies are not currently visible to retailers.

Set a minimum order value

Your minimum order value is the lowest value order that you are willing to accept from a retailer. For example, if you don't fulfill any orders under $200, then you would enter 200 as your Minimum order value.

The minimum order value that you enter is visible to retailers on your supplier profile.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Handshake > Preferences.
  2. In the Minimum order value section, enter a minimum order value and then click Save.

Set your shipping preferences

You can add more information about your shipping options, order processing time, returns and refunds policy, and any other important information related to shipping or policies.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Handshake > Preferences.
  2. In the Shipping and returns section, add information about your order processing and shipping times, returns, and refund policies.
  3. Click Save.
