Set up a fulfillment delay for Shopify Fulfillment Network

If you want to have time to cancel orders, edit orders, or resolve customer issues before Shopify Fulfillment Network (SFN) personnel begin fulfilling your orders, then you can set a fulfillment delay up to 120 minutes.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Shopify Fulfillment Network.

  3. Click Open app.

  4. Click Settings.

  5. Click Manage orders.

  6. In the Order processing section, click Hold orders for review in the Fulfillment processing holds section.

  7. If you want to change the delay duration from the default of 30 minutes, then click 30 minutes and select the number of minutes.

  8. Click Save.

If you don't want SFN to delay fulfilling your orders, then you can click Automatically fulfill the order in your SFN app settings.

If you need to bypass the fulfillment delay for a specific order, then you can request fulfillment by clicking Fulfill Now on the fulfillment request page in your SFN app.
