There are many resources that you can use to learn the basics of Shopify theme development.

Shopify Partners website

You can check out the Shopify Partners website to view the following resources:

  • a library of informative tutorials that cover specific questions for building or customizing a theme
  • webinars that explore theme development methods and best practices
  • free tools to help you plan your workflow, access Slate theme tooling, and browse stock photography.

Liquid reference

You can use the Liquid reference documentation to learn about Liquid, and to reference its logic, filters, and variables.
