Managing your inventory
Inventory is the quantity of a particular product that is available for sale.
Inventory tracking can help you avoid selling products that have run out of stock, or let you know when you need to order or make more of your product.
While Shopify can track your inventory and display these numbers in your store Admin, if you'd like to receive direct notifications of low stock levels, check out the Shopify App Store.
Set up inventory tracking

If your product has variants, you must change their inventory on the edit variant menu.
Click to set the product Quantity.
Click the link at the top of the variant menu to return to the product page.
If you're using Shopify POS, you can continue selling products when inventory reaches zero and below. This is because the Shopify POS app assumes you have the inventory on hand if you are selling in person.
