Getting paid

Getting paid as a Shopify Partner is simple and easy.

How payments are made

All you need is a minimum of $25 in credits and an active PayPal account to receive payments from Shopify. Credits to Partner accounts are accumulated and paid out on the following schedule:

  • For all credits created between the 1st to and including the 15th of the month, payment will occur 5 business days after the 15th day of the month.
  • For all credits created between the 16th to and including the last day of the month, payment will occur 5 business days after the last day of the month.

And don’t worry, the total amount of revenue you collect and the number of clients you collect from are not limited. The way we figure it, if you’re earning, we’re earning.

Tracking your revenue as a partner

As a Partner you have the ability to track who your affiliated clients are, the total revenue in that pay period generated by all your affiliated clients, and the total revenue to date from all your affiliated clients.

We provide each Partner with a unique URL called a referral URL. When it's time to create your client’s store, log in to your Partner Dashboard, then select the option to Create a New Shop, or provide your client with your referral URL.

This will tie your client’s store to your partner Account and the system will start tracking your income.

If your partner account is for some reason not affiliated with your client’s store, please contact your Partner Manager with details.

Payment disputes

If you feel like the amount of revenue you’ve received is too high or too low, contact your Partner Manager with details. We’ll review your message and see what we can do to resolve the issue.
