Supported countries for Shopify Payments
Shopify Payments is available only to stores in certain countries. Refer to the following sections to find the requirements and related information for each country that is supported for Shopify Payments.
To use Shopify Payments to accept payments requires you to activate
two-step authentication on your Shopify account. Two-step authentication helps prevent security breaches that can lead to misdirected payouts and other financial losses. Without two-step authentication activated, your account will be less secure and your payouts might be placed on hold.
Merchants in all regions who use Shopify Payments can accept co-branded Cartes Bancaires cards as a payment method. A co-branded Cartes Bancaires credit card has a Visa, Mastercard, or Maestro logo on it.
If the type of business you run is not supported by Shopify Payments, then review the list of other
payment gateways that Shopify supports.
If you operate a retail store, then refer to the list of
retail countries that are supported by Shopify payments.
