Fulfilling and managing Faire orders

You can fulfill orders that you receive on the Faire marketplace directly from your Shopify admin. Before you fulfill any Faire orders, make sure to review your Faire order sync settings.

After you receive an order on the Faire marketplace, you need accept the order on Faire, and then the order is automatically synced to your Shopify admin. However, any changes that you make to your Faire order in Shopify, such as fulfill, edit, cancel, return, or refund, aren't synced back to the Faire marketplace. When you make a change to your Faire order in Shopify, you need to make the same change on Faire.

Test Faire orders

Place a test order to confirm whether the integration between Faire and Shopify is working.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
  2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.
  3. Click Open sales channel.

  4. Click Preferences.

  5. In the Order sync section, click Send Faire test order.

Filter Faire orders

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Orders.

  2. Click Search and filter icon.

  3. Click Add filter, and then select Channel

  4. Select Faire.

  5. Click Save as.

  6. Name your order filter, and then click Save.

Fulfilling Faire orders

You can fulfill Faire orders the same way as you fulfill your other orders in your Shopify admin. However, your order information isn't synced back to Faire. You need to go to Faire and fulfill your order.

Refunding, returning, and canceling Faire orders

You can refund, return, or cancel your Faire orders the same way as you do for your other orders in your Shopify admin. However, you can't initiate a refund request for an order on Faire yourself, only your retailer can request a refund.
