Product reviews

When a customer purchases a product through the Shop app, they can leave a product review seven days after it’s delivered. Customers receive a push notification on their device requesting a review. Customers can leave a star rating between one and five, and an optional comment between 25 to 1,000 characters. Currently, these reviews are only visible in your Shopify admin, and aren’t displayed in the Shop app.
Manage your Shop product reviews
If you're eligible for early access, then you can use the following steps to manage your reviews.
Steps:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Sales channels > Shop.
- Click Reviews.
- Optional: Click the calendar icon to select a date range.
- Click on the review that you want to view.
Shop product reviews metrics
You can view metrics about your Shop product reviews from the Reviews page of the Shop channel.
Metric | What it shows for the date range |
---|---|
Collected reviews | Shows the number of reviews captured in the date range you select. |
Conversion rate | Shows the percentage of reviews customers left for your products after they were notified to review a product in the Shop app. |
Average rating | Shows the average rating for all of your reviewed products in Shop. |
