Add Follow on Shop to your store
Follow on Shop allows customers to follow your store on the Shop app. When a customer follows your store, they can receive personalized recommendations and notifications about your products. This helps you to create a more personalized shopping experience for your customers.
Eligibility requirements
To use Follow on Shop, you need to have the Shop channel installed, and Shop Pay activated on your store.
Adding Follow on Shop to your store
You can add the Follow on Shop button to your store from your Shopify admin.
Steps
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.
- In the Footer section, select the Follow on Shop checkbox.
- Click Save, and then click Publish.
After you activate the Follow on Shop button, it displays in your footer. The location of your Follow on Shop button depends on the other settings that you've turned on in the footer, such as email sign up and social media icons.
If you want to change the placement of the Follow on Shop button, then you can edit your theme code.
