Add Shop sign-in buttons to your store
Adding Shop sign-in buttons to your online store provides customers with a more personalized shopping experience, and can help increase your conversion rates with Shop Pay.
You can add the following Shop sign-in buttons to your store by customizing your theme:
- The Sign in with Shop button lets customers sign in to their Shop account on your store, and helps them check out faster using Shop Pay.
- The Follow on Shop button lets customers follow your store on Shop to receive personalized recommendations and notifications about your products.

Requirements to add Shop sign-in buttons to your store
To add Shop sign-in buttons to your store, you need to have the Shop channel installed, and Shop Pay activated.
Adding a Sign in with Shop button to your store
You can add a Sign in with Shop button to any page on your online store by adding a Sign in with Shop Button app block to your theme.
To customize your Sign in with Shop button, use the customer login button Liquid filter when editing your theme code.
Add a Follow on Shop button to your store
You can add the Follow on Shop button to your online store footer from your Shopify admin.
Steps:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.
- In the Footer section, select the Follow on Shop checkbox.
- Click Save, and then click Publish.
After you activate the Follow on Shop button, it displays in your footer. The location of your Follow on Shop button depends on the other settings that you've activated in the footer, such as email sign up and social media icons.
If you want to change the placement of the Follow on Shop button, then you can edit your theme code.
