Create a return to Shopify Fulfillment Network

You can create a return to Shopify Fulfillment Network (SFN) directly from your Shopify admin. When you create a return, your customer receives an email that contains the return label.


  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Orders.

  2. Click the order that your customer wants to return.

  3. Click Return items.

  4. Enter the quantity of items that are being returned. Verify that all the products that are being returned are managed by SFN.

  5. Select the reason for each item being returned.

  6. In the Return shipping options section, select Shopify Fulfillment Network.

  7. Click Create return.

After a return label is generated, a tracking number and an SFN: Return tag are assigned to the order. You can use the tag to filter your orders.

If you need to resend the return label to your customer, then you can resend or copy the return label at any time.
