Scheduling pickups, creating shipping manifests, and tracking Shopify Shipping shipments

You can track the delivery status of your shipments, schedule carrier pickups for eligible shipping labels, and create and print manifests for eligible shipping labels from the Shipping labels page.

Tracking delivery status of shipments

You can track the delivery status of your shipment in the Delivery status from the Shipping labels page. Your shipments can have the following statuses:

  • Picked up by carrier
  • In transit
  • Out for delivery
  • Delivered
  • Attempted delivery
  • Failed delivery

If your shipment has the No status yet status, then your shipment hasn't been scanned by a shipping carrier yet. You can also click the carrier tracking number in the Shipping service column to be directed to the carrier's website and view more details about the shipment.

Schedule carrier pickups

Some shipping carriers offer shipment pickups. You can schedule a carrier pickup for eligible shipping labels from the Shipping labels page. The shipping carrier will come to your door and collect your packages, instead of you leaving your home or business to drop off the packages.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Orders > Shipping labels.
  2. Click Schedule or view pickups.
  3. Depending on the carrier that you want to schedule a pickup for, click Schedule UPS pickup, Schedule USPS pickup, Schedule Sendle pickup, Schedule Canada Post pickup, or Schedule DHL Express pickup.
  4. Follow the prompts to schedule a pickup. Different carriers have different processes for scheduling pickups.

Create and print shipping manifests

If you're using USPS with Shopify Shipping or you have connected your own Canada Post account to Shopify, then you can create and print shipping manifests from the Shipping labels page.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Orders > Shipping labels.
  2. Click Pickups and manifests, and then click Create manifest.
  3. Optional: If you don't have the Shipping Manifests app installed, then install the app to your Shopify admin.
  4. From the Shipping Manifests app, click Create manifest.
  5. Select the fulfillment location. All available shipping labels from the fulfillment location are added to the shipping manifest.
  6. Click Create manifest.
  7. Click Print manifest.
