Cancel return

The Cancel return action cancels a return on an order. After a return is cancelled, it can't be restarted without creating a new return request.

Note

The Cancel return action can't be used when a return label has been purchased through Shopify Shipping.

Triggers

The Cancel return action has a hidden field added to it by the trigger. This field, Return ID (or return.id), identifies the return to cancel. The return ID is set by default and can't be changed.

The Cancel return action can be used in workflows that begin with triggers that contain return data, including:

• Return approved
• Return cancelled
• Return closed
• Return declined
• Return reopened
• Return requested
