Markets
You can use Markets to manage how different customers experience your store based on their location, customer group, or retail location. Markets let you define audiences using conditions and tailor their experience with customizations, including currency, language, pricing, and theme content. You can manage your markets from the Markets page in your Shopify admin.
Understanding and setting up markets
Get familiar with the key markets concepts, such as conditions and customizations that make up each market. When you're ready, you can create markets, choose market types, and configure localization.
Customizing market experiences
You can override your store's default settings for specific markets by adding customizations. Customizations control settings, such as currency, product availability, theme content, domains, languages, and taxes. The backup region determines the experience for customers who don't match any active market.
Managing discounts, gift cards, and SEO
Discounts and gift cards work across markets, but fixed-amount values are converted between currencies at checkout. You can also review SEO best practices to ensure your international store is properly indexed by search engines.
