Fulfilling orders using Oberlo

When you receive an order in Shopify, the order automatically appears in Oberlo. If your orders aren't appearing in Oberlo, then you need to troubleshoot.

Fulfill orders individually

Steps:

  1. From your Oberlo dashboard, go to the Orders page, and then scroll to the order that you want to fulfill.

  2. Click Order Products next to the order that you want to fulfill.

  3. If you haven't added a payment method to your account, then you need to add a payment card to fulfill your order.

  4. Optional: Check if you want to use your card for future orders.

  5. If there is more than one shipping option available, then select a shipping method.

  6. Click Order Products.

After you purchase the product from the supplier, the status changes from To Order to Order Placed within Oberlo.

The supplier ships the order within the 2-7 calendar days and adds the tracking code to the order. The order is then marked as Shipped in Oberlo and Fulfilled in Shopify. You can also see the date by which your customer should receive the product.

Fulfill orders in bulk

You can fulfill up to 1000 orders at once using the Order All feature.

Steps:

  1. From the Oberlo dashbaord, click Orders.

  2. Click Order All.

  3. Optional: Click next to an order that you want to remove from the bulk order.

  4. If there is more than one shipping option available, then select a shipping method.

  5. Click Proceed to payment.

  6. If you haven't added a payment method to your account, then you need to add a payment card to fulfill your order.

  7. Click Pay.

After you purchase the product from the supplier, the status changes from To Order to Order Placed. The supplier ships the order within the 2-7 calendar days and adds the tracking code to the order. The order is then marked as Shipped in Oberlo and Fulfilled in Shopify. You can also see the date by which your customer should receive the product.

If a supplier doesn't ship to a country specified on an order or if the product is out of stock, then a notification is displayed at the top with the number of orders that cannot be processed.

Finding orders that aren't appearing in Oberlo

There are a few different reasons why an order won't appear in your Oberlo dashboard. If your orders aren't appearing in Oberlo, then you need to troubleshoot.

The order payment status is not set to paid

Oberlo shows only orders that are marked as Paid in Shopify. We recommend that you configure your payment authorization settings in Shopify to automatically capture payment. Shopify then automatically marks orders as Paid.

A recent app update has prevented the order from appearing

If the order is marked as paid but doesn't show up in Oberlo, then it might be a bug that occasionally occurs when Oberlo is updated. To troubleshoot, add a note in Shopify to the orders that aren't appearing in Oberlo and wait a few minutes before checking if they have appeared in Oberlo.

Your product is not synced with Oberlo

If your orders still aren't showing up Oberlo, then it means that some of your products aren't synced with Oberlo. There can be several reasons for this:

  • The product was added without importing from Oberlo.
  • The product was duplicated in Shopify.
  • Product variants were created manually in Shopify.
  • All product variants were deleted in Shopify.
  • Products were exported then imported back into Shopify using a CSV file.
  • A third-party app modified product variants or created new products.

In this case, you need to do the following to purchase the products from the supplier:

  1. Override the product to sync it with Oberlo. This prevents future orders from not showing up in Oberlo.

  2. Create a draft order in Shopify. The order then appears in Oberlo and you can purchase the products from the supplier.
