Attribute sales to staff members

While you're processing an order on Shopify POS for iPad, you can attribute sales to a staff member from the products and cart screen. If you want to attribute sales to a staff member, then you have to add the staff member to the sale before completing the order.

You can track your staff's performance and sales attribution by using the Retail sales by staff who helped with sale report.

Attribute a staff member to an item in a transaction

  1. In the Cart section of the products and cart screen, tap a product.
  2. Tap Add staff who helped with sale.
  3. Select the staff member you want to attribute the sale to.
  4. Tap Done.

Remove a staff member from an item in a transaction

  1. In the Cart section of the product and cart screen, tap the product you have added staff to.
  2. Tap Add staff who helped with sale.
  3. Select a new staff member to change the staff member if more than one staff member is added to the order, or select Remove to clear all selections.
  4. Tap Done

Bulk attribute staff to a full transaction

You can attribute sales for all of the items in an order to one staff member.

  1. In the Cart section of the products and cart screen, tap the ...
  2. Tap Add staff who helped with sale.
  3. Select the staff member you want to attribute the sale to.
  4. Confirm that the items you want to attribute to staff are selected. If there is an item you do not want to attribute to staff, then deselect the item.
  5. Tap Done.
