Log in to your Shopify account

You can access your Shopify account by entering https://www.shopify.com/login into your desktop web browser. Alternatively, you can log in through the Shopify app on your tablet or mobile device. The Shopify app is compatible with iOS, iPadOS, and Android operating systems.

Log in to your Shopify account

You can log in to your Shopify admin using your internet browser on a desktop, a tablet, or a mobile device. On tablet and mobile devices, you can also log in using the Shopify app.

If you've logged in to your store on the same device before, then your store might already be listed on the login page. You can log in by selecting your store, and you aren't prompted to enter your email address.

If you want to log in to your Shopify admin on your tablet or mobile device without using the Shopify app, then you can use your internet browser and log in to your Shopify admin the same way as you log in on a desktop device.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Shopify login page.
  2. Enter your email address that's associated to your Shopify account or use one of the login services to log in.
  3. Enter your password, and then click Log in.
  4. If you have two-step authentication activated on your Shopify account, then enter the authentication code using your authentication method, and then click Log in.
  5. If you have multiple Shopify stores associated to your Shopify account, then select the store that you want to access.

Log in to multiple Shopify accounts

You can log in to multiple accounts using a tablet or mobile device on the Shopify app. You can't log in to multiple accounts on a desktop device, you can only switch between different accounts.

After you log in to an account, it becomes your active account and you can switch between your accounts

  • Forgot your password: If you forget your Shopify account password, then you can reset your password.
  • Forgot your email address: If you forgot your email address, then try troubleshooting. If you need to update the email address that's associated with your Shopify account, then contact Shopify Support.
  • Other login issues: If you're experiencing different issues when trying to log in to your account, then try following these troubleshooting steps.

Log out of a Shopify account

  1. From your Shopify admin, click the store name at the top right corner.
  2. Click Log out.
