Enabling and disabling Arrive notifications for orders

Arrive is a mobile app available for iOS and Android devices. It updates customers about the status of online orders based on tracking information, and sends automatic delivery notifications. When tracking Shopify orders, the app uses real-time data from carriers to provide customers with up-to-the-minute information about their orders.

When customers get more information about the status of an order, they're more likely to trust your business and return to place future orders. Customers using mobile devices can choose to receive updates for a Shopify order using Arrive and download the mobile app from the order status page.

When you enable the Arrive opt-in, customers in the United States and Canada see an option to use Arrive for order tracking when viewing the order status page on iOS and Android devices. Customers who opt in are prompted to download the Arrive iOS or Android app, and then their order information syncs from Shopify automatically. Customers outside the United States and Canada won't see the option to use Arrive.

Enable or disable the Arrive opt-in

You can enable or disable the option to use Arrive on the order status page.

If the Arrive opt-in is available for your store, then you don't need to do anything to set it up for your customers. The option is enabled automatically, and it appears on order status pages unless you disable it.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings, and then click Checkout.
  2. Under To receive shipping updates, check or uncheck Customers can download the Arrive app from the order status page to enable or disable the option for customers.
  3. Click Save.
