Getting paid

As a Shopify Partner, the revenue share that you're entitled to depends on your contribution to the Shopify ecosystem (your activities) and the Partner program that you join. It can also vary based on your location and the location of the merchants you work with. To learn more, see Shopify Partner revenue share.

How payments are made

All you need is a minimum of $25 in credits and an active PayPal account to receive payments from Shopify. Credits to Partner accounts are accumulated and paid out on the following schedule:

  • For all credits created between the 1st to and including the 15th of the month, payment will occur 5 business days after the 15th day of the month.
  • For all credits created between the 16th to and including the last day of the month, payment will occur 5 business days after the last day of the month.

And don't worry: the total amount of revenue you collect and the number of clients you collect from are not limited. The way we see it, if you're earning, then we're earning.

Tracking your revenue

From the Payouts page in your Partner Dashboard, you can track the various sources of revenue that you receive as a Shopify Partner. Your payments from Shopify are transferred to you in regular payouts, which appear as payout periods in the Payout History table. You can view the totals for each revenue type in the columns that appear there. To learn more about what's included in a payout, click its date range in the Payout period column.

Review a payout

In the Payout History table, you can find detailed information about the sources of revenue that each payout includes.

Steps:

  1. From your Partner Dashboard, click Payouts.
  2. In the Payout History table, click a date range in the Payout period column.
  3. If you want to view payouts based on the type of stores that are associated with the revenue, then click either Transferred stores or Affiliate stores.

Export your payouts

You can export a record of your payouts in a CSV file.

Steps:

  1. From your Partner Dashboard, click Payouts.
  2. If you want to export a record of all the payouts that you've received, then click Export payouts as CSV.
  3. If you want to export a record of the payouts that are included in a specific payout period, then click the date range for the period that you want, and click Export payouts as CSV.

Payment disputes

If you believe that the amount of revenue that you've received is too high or too low, then contact Partner Support with details. We'll review your message and do what we can to resolve the issue.
